Dr. Frankie Kennedy

Dr Frankie is excited to be a member of the Long Branch Veterinary team. Her humble beginnings on a small farm in rural Alberta instilled a lifelong love and admiration for the uniqueness of the individual animal. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and started her journey caring for all creatures great and small in various areas of Canada and also abroad in England. As her experience progressed she developed a keen interest in the special needs of older cats. This led her to complete a feline medicine course at the European School of Graduate Studies. As a veterinarian, Dr Frankie believes her role is to work with clients and their companions in a gentle and respectful manner. She wants to help cat caregivers understand how to provide the healthiest life possible for their pets. Dr Frankie describes herself as an “explorer” so when she’s not working she is out exploring near and far. She is also happy to be “Gam Gam” to her two grand-dogs: Brooklyn the squirrel-stalking whippet and Gretchen the energetic cuddle bug Mini Schnauzer.
